Kenyans are not happy with the influx of Nigerians into their country. In recent times, it has been reported that some Kenyans have taken to the social media to vent their frustrations on how Nigerians are slowly monopolising their country with their unorthodox conducts.

According to a Kenyan interviewed in a video making rounds online, there is a problem with Nigerians, there is a general trait Nigerians have, there is an aggression that other people are not comfortable with.

“They are operating like the Chinese, they are finding a way to deposit their population with their cultures which does not fit with us. They are doing very crazy things with our ladies”.

He also claims Congo, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Nigeria’s close neighbour Ghana are some of the countries whose citizens are not comfortable with Nigerians. He also said that Nigerians exhibit traits of “unnecessary aggression” when they live in other countries.

Over the years, Nigerians have been targets of attacks in several countries including Ghana and South Africa.

The man, however, said Nigerians would enjoy freedom in their host countries if they were better behaved.

“If you go to Congo, they’re not comfortable with Nigerians; both Zimbabwe and Zambia, they are not comfortable with Nigerians. In fact, even a country that is close to Nigeria like Ghana has problems with Nigerians. This is a natural trait that Nigerians have; there is unnecessary aggression that other people don’t find comfortable,” he said.

The man listed terrorism, overpopulation and unemployment as reasons for the movement of Nigerians to other African countries.

He said Nigerians deposit their population, alongside their cultures, “which do not fit in us” in host countries, adding that they also engage in illegal businesses and tender fake currency notes.

He appealed to Nigerians to adhere to the norms of whichever country they reside in.

“I think because of the terrorism effect that is going on in their country, and because of the bulging population and the high rate of unemployment, so, they are operating like Chinese. They are finding where they can deposit their population and unfortunately, they are depositing themselves with their Nigerian cultures which do not fit in us,” he said.

“Even in Nairobi here…if you go to Donum, they are doing very crazy things with our ladies. In fact, even this week on Sunday, the police arrested three people and some of them were Nigerians with fake money …, illegal trade done by these guys.

“We are only asking Nigerians and other foreigners in our country that, let them live within the norms and traditions of the people of that host country for them to enjoy the freedom and everything that that country brings.”
