Popular Iranian-born Australia-based Islamic cleric, Mohammad Tawhidi a.k.a Imam of Peace is seeking the arrest of Nigerian Ruler, Muhammadu Buhari, over the continuous killing of Nigerians in the Northern part of the country and the Boko Haram menace.

The hashtag, ‘ArrestBuhari’, is currently trending on twitter, after Tawhidi called out Buhari for releasing thousands of Boko Haram Terrorists because they “repented”.
He wrote:
“He shouldn’t resign. He should be arrested and dragged into the back of a police van and locked up. This corrupt person freed thousands of Boko Haram Terrorist because they “repented.” They’re now massacring Christians.
“Buhari freeing thousands of Boko Haram terrorists because they “repented” is treason. They have killed thousands since then, and he is responsible. #ArrestBuhari
“Charged for corruption should be the last thing he worries about. Buhari should he charged for collaborating with the Fulani CULT and striking a deal to free thousands of Boko Haram Jihadists who have killed thousands this year alone! #ArrestBuhari“
In the same vein, Reno Omokri, Media Aide to former President, Goodluck Jonathan, joined the trend.
Omokri tweeted: “
General @MBuhari’s government cancelled WAEC and shut all schools on the excuse of #COVID19, yet Buhari kept Boko Haram’s so called de-radicalisation school opened. Children of law abiding tax paying citizens cant graduate. But Boko Haram can! Will you accept this?
For the murderous activity of herdsmen, bandits and other militias, without his government doing anything really tangible to put an end to these killings of innocent Nigerians, but rather making excuses for them, I fully support #ArrestBuhari”
He also shared pictures of ‘repentant’ B’Haram, alongside another post, saying: “Look at this nonsense released by General @MBuhari’s government. They have the gall to release graduation photos of so called ‘repentant’ B’Haram. What rubbish! Because of these people, Leah Sharibu and Chibok Girls could not graduate! This is why I fully support #ArrestBuhari”
When @GEJonathanwas in power, General @MBuhari complained that ‘the military offensive against Boko Haram is anti North’. Now, the very B’Haram who rejected education are graduating. Buhari even spent tax payer money to sew nice new graduation clothes for them!
Africa Daily News, New York reports that the Nigerian military recently released 608 “repentant” Boko Haram suspects who have undergone rehabilitation.
The authorities say they have been de-radicalised and can re-enter society, but critics are sceptical about whether they have repented.
Over 30,000 people have been killed in Boko Haram’s ten-year insurgency.
