Every passing day, Governor Hope Uzodinma keeps coming publicly, to tell blatant falsehood before the good people of Imo state particularly, and the entirety of Ndi Igbo both home and abroad.

With the sort of falsehood that often emanates from Governor Uzodinma and his treacherous but unprofessional media team, one apparently does not need further proof that Governor Uzodinma is nothing short of an imposition of the All Progressives Congress (APC) party controlled Supreme Court of Nigeria without the true mandate of the electorate.

Following the above reaffirmation, it is now obvious to all and sundry in Imo state that Governor Uzodinma’s loyalty is completely with the cabal that foisted him on Imo people as a Governor and not necessarily the people he claims to govern.

The most recent of Governor Uzodinma’s brazen falsehood was yesterday after the meeting of APC South-East Leaders hosted by him in Imo state, and he hurriedly took to his verified Facebook page@Hope Uzodinma to lie as usual without any shame and prick of conscience that his own people of South-East were not marginalised in Nigeria.

In his own very words, Governor Uzodinma spewed the following falsehood without any recourse to good conscience and remembrance of posterity’s judgment:

“As APC South East leaders, we affirmed that the claim of marginalization of Ndigbo is mere speculation and the figment of imagination of those who are not well informed.”

What other marginalisation could be worse than the current situation in Nigeria where all the key federal ministries like Defense, Finance, and Secretary to the Government are held by Northern muslims while Ndi Igbo are given the less prominent ones, as well as the heinous unleashing of military force against Igbo masses who only wielded a Biafran flag to protest the injustice meted on them?

If the denial of statutory federal appointments to Ndi Igbo and levity, the Fulani herdsmen who rape and gruesomely murder Ndi Igbo in their own land are being treated with as seen in Nigeria do not in anyway mean marginalisation to Governor Uzodinma then it would not be out of place to state unequivocally that he is a pathological liar who is bent on serving the overall interest of his Fulani masters who through violation of due electoral process, hijacked the leadership of Nigeria, without considering the least interest of his own Igbo people.

Since Senator Uzodinma assumed power, his government has been nothing different from a maladministration where falsehood has become the order of the day. He and his clueless media team keep peddling blatant falsehood to score cheap points, and gain popularity but the masses know how dysfunctional and unsavoury, Governor Uzodinma’s government has been.

First, he cunningly began by refusing to pay salaries and pensions making bogus claims that Imo state was owing over 60 billion naira in arrears from 4,800 ghost workers but later posited that his government had resolved the issue.

Till this moment, after well over two weeks, he claimed that the issue of non-payment had been resolved, Imo state workers and pensioners are yet to receive their arrears. One does not need to be informed anymore that Senator Uzodinma is playing unintelligent gimmicks when he made those unfounded claims.

The Governor had grossly alleged that 8 persons were swindling Imo state the sum of 330 million naira annually in the guise of pensions and salaries but the question here is, why is the state led by Governor Uzodinma yet to prosecute those suspected to be culpable in a fraud of such magnitude?

And Governor Uzodinma’s inability up till this time to initiate alleged persons’ prosecution in a competent court of jurisdiction only shows very clearly that he is not being honest as regards the actuality of his claims.

Governor Uzodinma’s maladministration can not confidently boast of any project they commenced and duly completed successfully. All they do is to feed the people of Imo state with cheap lies of their unprecedented performance in and outside of the media.

Senator Uzodinma’s government can also be described as a government of ‘blame apportionment.’ His unscrupulous maladministration which derives pleasure in the sufferings of Imo people by withholding their salaries and pensions is always too quick to heap blames on others for their ineptitude.

The Governor and his clueless team are now blaming, and accusing the immediate past Deputy Governor of the state, Engineer Gerald lrona of sponsoring the recent protest by staff of State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (ISOPADEC) demanding their long overdue salaries, instead of the government paying the workers’ arrears.

Governor Uzodinma failed to pay salaries and pensions, he shifted the blame to his predecessor, Sir Emeka Ihedioha for alleged ghost workers.

No government survives by peddling falsehood or propaganda, it is only a matter of time before the total fall of such government will result, so it is pertinent for Governor Uzodinma to get his act right before the deteriorating situation in Imo state eventually becomes irredeemable.
