Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, and director of Radio Biafra has taken to his twitter page to speak out on how the resilience and sturdy nature of the Igbos have kept them from being used as tools in the actualisation of the Othman Dan Fodio – Fulani Caliphate empire which was supposed to encompass the whole of Nigeria.

Taking reference from Dr. Ahamdu Bello’s quote in 1960 which said “The nation called Nigeria should be an estate of our grandfather, Othman Dan Fodio. We must RUTHLESSLY prevent a change of power. We must use the minorities in the North as WILLING TOOLS”.

He reiterates how the Igbo’s and other South Eastern tribes will never be used as a “Willing tool” to help establish the Fulani Caliphate which will in turn make them slaves to the Northern leaders.

He describes how the Hausa tribe were the first to fall for the farce, thereby losing their ancient Habe kingdoms, outstanding civilisation, identity, humanity and dignity. Then they were followed by the Yorubas who failed to heed to warnings. This saw them losing Illorin and their sense of purpose as a nation till today.

He then describes how the Biafrans ignored the warnings for the sake of unity and a united Nigeria and joined the Nigerian Armed forces, this action seriously backfired when they lost some five million souls, their territory and sense of direction till God Almighty Chukwu Okike Abiama determined the creation and  actualisation of IPOB.

He also lists other minor instances where the Fulanis tried to use influential Nigerians and events to establish their claim. These instances included  Adaka Boro, Ken Saro-Wiwa, MKO Abiola, Chuba Okadigbo, relentless Fulani herdsmen attacks, banditry, religious persecution, collapsed economy, hunger, poverty and disease.
