Chief Ralph Uwazurike, leader of the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), on Sunday descended heavily on Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike for demolishing two hotels in Rivers State over violation of COVID-19 lockdown regulation.

The destruction, on Sunday, of both properties, Prudent Hotel, Alode, and Etemeteh Hotel, Onne, both in Eleme Local Government Area, under the direct supervision of the Governor attracted anger and condemnation among stakeholders.

In a video shared online, the MASSOB leader said that Governor Wike is a useless man for demolishing the Hotel instead of Looking for a way to help the Federal Government in Fighting COVID-19. He added that Wike does not know anything.

Uwazurike cautioned the governor, warning him that such inhuman treatment will be resisted. He dared the governor to extend such treatment to him and face all-out battle. He said the governor could have applied fines or seal up the properties rather than pulling it down completely.

“What a nonsense Governor, How can you destroy someone’s Hotel simply Because you are a Governor, what nonsense Governor is that one? who are you? someone defied a law, instead of locking the place, you destroyed his wealth.

“Wike you are very useless, you are stupid, how would you feel if someone destroys your properties, are you the only Governor in Nigeria? are you mad? You can only try that nonsense in Rivers state.

“Try this with me and I will make Rivers ungovernable for you. I’ll send my men to burn the state and the Federal Government will be forced to declare a state of emergency and you will lose your seat as a governor,” Uwazurike said.
