In case you’ve somehow missed it, Tyson Fury defeated Deontay Wilder in their long-awaited rematch in Las Vegas last night.

Although most people mocked Fury for saying he wanted to knock out the WBC champion, no one was mocking the Gypsy King when he got the job done.

In the seventh round, Wilder’s corner threw in the towel and stopped the barrage of attack that was being offloaded onto their fighter.

From the very first bell, it was all Tyson Fury.

The Brit was an animal from the get-go, knocking the champ down on numerous occasions before the towel was thrown in later on in the fight.

If anyone had any doubts about Fury before the fight, they certainly don’t have them anymore. Fury schooled Wilder and left America with his WBC title too.

Now the question is; what’s next?

Well, ask any boxing fan and they want to see Fury take on fellow champ and fellow Brit Anthony Joshua.

All the titles on the line and one of the biggest heavyweight fights of all time.

BOX-HEAVY-WORLD-USA-GBR-WILDER-FURYJust imagine Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua at Wembley Stadium with thousands of Brits supporting their warrior. It would be insane!

Unsurprisingly, murmurs of that fight are already spreading around, with Eddie Hearn, promoter of AJ, claiming it could happen this year.

Well, eagle-eyed spectators from last night’s fight spotted that Fury was already sending a message to Joshua before he even secured the victory.

Fury’s mouthguard was the flag of Nigeria and had ‘Nigeria’ written across it, a clear message to Joshua, who has Nigerian heritage.

His mother is Nigerian, while his father is of Nigerian and Irish ancestry, and he’s long spoken about wanting a fight in the African country.

Maybe, just maybe, we could see Fury take on AJ in Nigeria rather than England?

One thing is for sure, Fury wants AJ, and the boxing world wants to see that!
