A young man was found stabbed to death at a homeless shelter in Manhattan early Sunday, police said.

Two men were discovered with knife wounds by police responding to a 911 call at Basics Housing Men’s Homeless Shelter on West 83rd Street near Columbus Ave. on the Upper West Side at about 1:50 a.m. Sunday, authorities said.

The victim, 22, whose name was not immediately released, was found on the building’s third floor with multiple stab wounds to his body, cops said.

Medics rushed him to Mount Sinai St. Luke’s Hospital, but he could not be saved, cops said.

A 36-year-old man found on the shelter’s first floor, who suffered a single stab wound, was admitted to St. Luke’s in stable condition and later taken into custody, cops said.
