The Washington teenager who pleaded guilty to pushing her friend off a 60-foot bridge will spend just two days behind bars.

Taylor Smith was sentenced to two days in jail and 38 days on a county work crew after pleading guilty to reckless endangerment last week, according to The Columbian. She must also pay a fine of $300 and has been prohibited from talking to the victim for two years.

The 19-year-old was caught on a 10-second video pushing Jordan Holgerson, then 16, off the bridge at Moulton Falls after her friend said she didn’t want to jump.

Helgerson suffered six broken ribs and punctured lungs.

“I didn’t ask for this, but last summer, my said friend changed my life for the worst,” she said in a victim’s impact statement in court Wednesday.

Her mother, Genelle, said that her daughter has been going to physical therapy and has developed anxiety since the fall.

She had asked for Smith to spend three days in jail.

“Taylor didn’t just give Jordan a little push,” Genelle Holgerson said in court, according to The Columbian. “I ask that she stay in jail as long as my daughter was in that hospital bed.”
