A lone gunman fleeing a traffic stop set off on a rampage that left seven dead and at least 22 injured, including three cops, in a West Texas shooting on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2019.
Police killed the shooter at the Odessa Cinergy movie theater after the suspect was pulled over at an interstate traffic stop for failing to signal a left turn and he opened fire. The gunman went on to hijack a postal service vehicle and began shooting innocent bystanders in the West Texas cities of Odessa and Midland.
