The human mind is very powerful when left to wander far and wide without restrictions, without direction.

A critical, analytical mindset is a dangerous thing to lose because this is what births all forms of creativity and inventions.
The mind would wander earlier today as I sat on my bed with legs crossed and eyes affixed to a vantage point deeply thinking on the sophisticated creations of man in advancing healthcare through the advent of medicine and drugs, the inter-ballistic missiles and weaponry to promulgate and enhance warfare, the hybrid communication gadgets and the sophisticated technologies.
You cannot take it away from man. Pardon my deductions. “Man have come quite a long way with measured steady growth pattern. Man is god and must take glory of these inventions.”
I’m thinking aloud this morning about the place of Africa. The dark continent at the heart of this numerous creativity. Her role as passive actors. “siddon dey look” while other nations of the world thrive and make quick strides in economy, business, politics, healthcare, education and sports.
In my reflective moments, I’m tempted to ask aloud if it’s the same God who created the negroid race that did the same with the Caucasians. The thought pattern is completely different and highly segmented. One is purely “progressive” with her inventions and creativity  while the other is seething with retrogression and hate.
Down this zone, creativity is hidden behind penchant to match terror with more terror and serve unfettered violence to fellow man and I mean this in all honesty. Inhumanity to mankind is where we as ‘black’ people bettered ourselves “creatively”.
We are good at jungle justice; taking lives with reckless abandon. I recall the nauseous, fateful day I was pursued as a common thief at the heart of Mile 2 area in Lagos by a soldier because he wanted to stop me by all means from getting away from him. I shared the experience on my social media platform.
I could have lost my life that fateful day to being lynched openly or burned alive by the gathering mob like a common criminal. That is how swift we are in Africa; Nigeria as a case in point.
We don’t hesitate. We have got zero working conscience.
Is that not an Igbo man who cloned and coated chalk in form of drugs and sold to his country people?
Who is that Yoruba man who poured enough water into the kerosene and fuel dispenser to increase the content and boost sales?
Who is that Hausa man who adjusted the meter in the petrol station? Who stole the government money after all said and done?
Who gave real time information to kidnappers to capture and torment a family member?
Who is the bad person smiling yet the brain behind the pain on the inside?
Who sold his or her conscience like Judas Iscariot for bread and butter and some thirty pieces of silver and for greed and personal aggrandizement decide to siphon all funds for internally displaced person straight into personal coffers? How did we learn to be prolific in doing evil.
I recall before now when transacting something as small as business with a white man, they readily give you a specific rate for a product for sale. If you can afford it, you buy. If you cannot you go away. Today, the black man have taught the white man how to say “Last price”. Is this the last price? What does that mean?
We have spoiled the systems totally. A man will go to China and order some products with a conscious effort to beat price while telling them with emphasis to reduce quality. Don’t act like you cannot relate with what I’m saying at the moment please. You all have created a worse monster that may come back to haunt us beyond our ability to comprehend. Why is it so sweet and swift perpetrating wickedness in this clime. This part of the world seem not to be created by the same God the white man serve. Honestly so.

She must have loved him as she claimed. But was always at the beck and calls of other men regularly sleeping with every one of them from time to time. Something made by God to last and bring happiness became a harbinger of thorns.
Yet, she loved him. She claimed. She loved him so much and adores her beautiful relationship. Lovingly, over time transferred sexual disease into his bloodstream with love. The sum total of a man’s life put to a stop by promiscuity. We put that also on the sweet love. Corrupting the word, giving it other grotesque definitions.
Welcome to Africa. With the headquarters in Nigeria. Stories like the above you readily hear within our confines. We seem to truncate every good and working system or arrangement. We have little or no value for relationships and romance. It is forced loving fueled by inordinate cravings and greed.
This might be another person’s idea of love. The black man seeks to find perfect means of corrupting working systems and this is what hinders our growth in comparison with others from saner climes.

Another man, a true life story. I followed the plot. He suffered some hard time in his life to make money. Eventually, he made some, always had a benevolent heart to help and support people.
He called his nephew to come for a bite.
His love for family, It killed him. Five bullets on the chest resting his soul in peace. Some strange men in mask storm his home few hours after nephew said goodnight, till tomorrow. His love finished him. Another sad end and a reminder to save yourself and leave people alone. You aren’t Jesus Christ!

They were drinking together, he has just been promoted in the office space, they were ‘genuinely’ happy for him. They were celebrating at a bar with chants of congratulations renting the air like a bad disease.
He stood up shortly to take a leak, he came back to his drink. In 15 minutes he was foaming in the mouth. He died. Sweet love just killed him. He never sat at the new seat in the office space for once. The case was hurriedly closed after a shoddy investigation. Another chapter made to waste, snuffed out easily like that candle in the wind.
